Last weekend, my little sister finally returned my iPad Pro after having it for an entire year! Of course I instantly realized that the iPad had a dent on the side where the Apple Pencil sits (and I definitely didn’t cause this dent). To be honest, my little sister is very responsible, so I knew it wasn’t her fault either but that didn’t stop me from teasing her. Apple actually had an appointment for the same day (thank you COVID, because that never happens) and thanks to my Apple Care, they replaced the dented iPad with a brand new one out of the box. I was thrilled. I came home and set it up from scratch, just to feel like it was a brand new iPad (technically it was, but you know what I mean).

While I was waiting for the iPad to update and download all the apps I wanted to restore, I went into detective mode to try and figure out what my library account information was for Miami-Dade. I have an active account in Orlando at the Orange County library, but since I no longer live there I felt as though I should get one in Miami. I had to email the support team, but they answered super quickly and I finally was able to log into the account. Now that I was in, I downloaded the Libby app and the Miami-Dade Public Library app and rented my first book! I love reading a physical book, so very much, but I’ve been dying to get the library app so I can attempt to save some money. I buy way too many books and it adds up!

I’m NGL, I haven’t finished the book club book I’ve been reading since I started watching One Tree Hill (again) and spiraled out of control and into a One Tree Hill only rabbit hole. BUT I will finish the book this weekend, and I’m going to start the one I rented from the Library. I figured I’ll start reading a library book between books so basically I’ll read a physical book, then read a rented book, read a physical book, rent, etc. It’s a good way to balance the books and save some money in the process!

Today is Good Friday and we logged off early so I decided to turn my room upside down and rearrange everything. Since I started watching OTH, I haven’t been able to concentrate as much on work so in an attempt to be responsible I moved my work space to the living room part of the loft. Actually, I moved the couch where the book shelf was, move the bookshelf to the wall where my RBG and Pooh frames are, and then my desk went where the couch used to be. I was going to flip my bed, but I actually hated how it looked so I put it back where I had it and moved the shelves from next to my bed, to where the desk was originally, and then moved my nightstand to where the shelves were and the jewelry case to where the nightstand was. Now I feel like I have more space I wasn’t properly utilizing before. I actually really like how it turned out. On my Amazon binge, I bought some extension chords that I think will help make this new layout work quite well. The one thing that drives me crazy about this room is that there aren’t enough plugs for electricity so everything is overpowered on one side of the room. My goal is to alleviate that with these extension chords.

Since it’s Friday, which means new music is released, I’ve been listening to the new Demi Lovato album and it’s amazing. I also absolutely love the new JB album, Justice. Hands down my two favorite albums right now. I haven’t seen her documentary, although I have heard it’s intense. I added it to my weekend to-do list, so maybe I’ll finally be able to watch it this weekend. I also need to watch the first episode of Law & Order Organized Crime with Elliott Stabler. I did watch the introduction/cross over episode on SVU where they explain the absence and revise the relationship Olivia and Elliot had, but I started to get sleepy so I went to bed and recorded Elliott’s standalone episode. I’m so excited he’s back, I hope they do more crossovers with SVU.

Now that I’m fully vaccinated, I can’t wait to start going places again. Next weekend we’re going to Disney (my cousin hasn’t been since forever, so we’re all going to Epcot). They actually announced that the Food and Wine is going to start 10 days after the current Flower and Garden festival wraps. It’ll be the longest the festival has ever been. I am wondering with the 50th anniversary of Magic Kingdom/Walt Disney World, if they’ll have an in-person RunDisney event in the fall. I really hope so because I truly miss in-person events. I think they can totally limit the amount of people and spectators and be successful, but who knows. It would be so fun if they do though. Here’s to hoping.
