Back to School I go, Again!

The time has finally come! I am going to be going back to school for a second master’s, this time in International Business. I’ve been really overwhelmed thinking about how I’m going to balance a demanding full time job and a full time academic career, especially with a new production kicking off, a mentorship program that I’m half way through, a new Talent Lab, and so much more! I’m a massive procrastinator and I think that, in order to be successful and not drown in my anxiety, I need to really try to avoid procrastinating at all costs. That’s going to be the recipe of success for this new adventure.

What I am most excited about is being physically back in school. Despite COVID running rampant and the new variants popping up everywhere, I am looking forward to starting school and having actual classes again. I finished my last year of my undergrad when I was in Orlando, so it was all online. My certificate program and first master’s program was also online. Being back on campus, around people, learning in a real-time environment is exciting for me.

I’m also excited about my new supplies. I bought Avenger themed notebooks, one for each class, and I bought my favorite pens. I’m still hunting down the perfect highlighter, but until I do I’m excited to use what I have. As for books, I rented my textbooks and the one I could get as an E-Book I did. I’ll be taking my MacBook with me to work on the days I have classes, along with my work laptop since I’ll be “in-office” those day to minimize the traffic.
