Wow, I have been so swamped lately I didn’t even notice that I hadn’t posted for two whole weeks! School clearly started, and between my full time job and the reading assignments I have had to do, I’ve been slammed. This weekend, that is going to change. I am going to spend the weekend locked in my room, with a few breaks for pre-scheduled appointments, so that I can get through all the pending reading assignments and try to get ahead of this! I cannot let myself get backed up like this again.

Last weekend was the Boo Bash at Magic Kingdom, and all though I love and miss Mickey’s Not So Scary Halloween Party, I had a lot of fun! My costume was definitely a hit, and I can’t wait to wear it for the Wine and Dine race in November (sneakers included). Here are some pictures of the final product:

Such a fun time. While I was in Orlando, I also got a chance to do the Passholder Preview for Remy’s Ratatouille Adventure which will open to the public on October 1, 2021 (the start of the 50th Anniversary Celebration for Walt Disney World). It was such a fun ride, and totally made me miss being in Paris again! I can’t wait for the 50th Celebration to kick off. There is so much fun planned for guests. Of course I waited too long and missed out on getting a park reservation that day, but I plan to go very close to it. If you’re not able to make it that weekend, don’t fret. The celebration is going to go on for 18 months! Simialr to the one that Disneyland did for their 60th anniversay.

While in Orlando, we also hit up the outlets and stores at Downtown Disney. My poor wallet was yelling at me the entire weekend, but I couldn’t help it! Labor Day sales were fantastic. I bought some cute tee’s at Zara, I went completely overboard at the J. Crew and Lululemon outlet. I’m actually wearing one of the pants I bought at J. Crew today, since I went into the office before class I was able to wear my new purhcase! I also bought some shoes at Melissa Shoes, because with the bipolar Miami weather it helps to have shoes that won’t get ruined in a hurricane.

I am completley and utterly behind on my reading challenge, so I’m hoping that by getting ahead this weekend on my homework I will give myself enough leiway to read a book and start to catch up as much as possible. TBD on how that goes.
