What I’ve Bought on Amazon (& it’s A LOT)
Hi, my name is KJ and I am an Amazonaholic. No, but really, I cannot stop shopping on Amazon. It’s a one-stop-shop for everything and anything you might possibly need, food included. I’ve done these posts before where I give you a deep dive into everything I’ve bought on Amazon recently, however since I haven’t done this in a few months I’m going back to January. So this post will consist of everything that I have purchased on Amazon sine the year started, and it really is A LOT (but so worth it).
Let’s divide this into categories of purchases:
Accessories:
Apple Watch Bands >> these are ideal for the summer or for anyone who likes to work out. The bright colors are vibrant enough to add a little pop to whatever outfit and they bring a casing for around the watch base which serves for protection.
Knotted Headband with Crystal Embellishment >> these are a great alternative to the Lele Sadoughi headbands at a really affordable price. I love to wear them to work and out when I just don’t know what to do with my hair.
Jelly Bracelets >> these are a great alternative to the infamous Budha Girl bracelet stack that you see everyone wearing. I bought a similar pair last summer to wear to the beach, and I wore them so much that I needed to toss them out and order new ones. I like this set specifically because it brings double the amount of bracelets the other pair I ordered brought AND the color is perfection.
Bohemian Beaded Bracelets >> I found these last year for my aunt and I ended up getting a few similar styles for myself to wear to a wedding, however when I was looking for a neutral pair to wear to an event I realized that I didn’t have any. I immediately ordered these for myself and my boss (it was her birthday present) because I know they’ll be put to good use. I love this brown color, and I can even mix them up with the other stacks I bought last year.
No Show Socks >> my favorite no show socks are from Amazon, hands down. I have a bunch of different styles but I always end up coming back to these and these
Bedding:
I needed to order new sheets and a comforter to replace the ones I had because they were literally run to the ground so I found these two items which not only were affordable, but exactly what I was looking for.
Fitted Sheets >> my aunt hates this about me, but I hate buying sheets because the only thing I use is the fitted sheets. I have silk pillowcases that I use, so I don’t need others, and I despise the loose sheet. This pack was the perfect thing.
Queen Comforter/Duvet >> I love white comforters, despite my aunt thinking I am insane given we have three very active Yorkies at home, and mine was definitely put through the wringer so when I started looking for a replacement, I found this one and I’m so happy with it. It’s lightweight, which is fantastic for Miami weather, and it fits just the way I like it on my bed.
Beauty, Makeup, Hair, and Body:
Beauty Sponge >> technically, I was looking for that super oversized beauty sponge I’ve seen on TikTok, but I ended up with this and I do have to save of all the sponges I have I’m leaning towards this one being my favorite.
Burt’s Bees Face Wipes Micellar Cleanser with Rose Water >> I love these face wipes so much, and they are amazing at taking even waterproof mascara off. I have them on a subscription service for replenishment because I go through them so quickly.
Eyelash Applicator tool >> this was an #influencedbyTikTok purchase. I almost always get mascara on my lid so when I saw someone review this tool on TikTok I did not even think twice about ordering it. Betty yet, you can even use it to brush out your lashes to prevent clumping on the lashes.
Essense Mascaras >> last fall, I discovered the Essence brand via Ulta Beauty and despite the fact I do not need more mascara (yet) I keep ordering. I will never again buy another brand of mascara. I mean these are not only worth the money (umm $5 EACH) but they’re each INSANELY good. These are the four latest ones I’ve tried and fallen in love with: one / two / three / four. I really do recommend these to anyone who is looking for new, affordable, mascara.
Thomas Kosmala No. 1 >> my mom and I discovered this perfume in New York, and we bought my dad one (the No. 4) but I couldn’t let go of how much I loved this scent. As soon as I found it on Amazon, I hit order before I could think twice. I wear it all the time and it’s just so delicious.
Brush Travel Pouch >> I actually wish I would have gotten a bigger version of this, but I made it work. I used it for my trips, putting the brushes I take with me for everyday makeup application, so that makeup doesn’t dirty my actual makeup bag.
Oribe Detangling Shampoo >> I love Oribe shampoo, and I do have a bunch of different ones, but this detangling one is one of my favorite and a definite repeat purchase. It leaves my hair so soft.
Makeup Brushes >> these are a great alternative to the always sold out Dibs brushes, and the price is unreal. I really like the dual headed purpose brushes and the material is really good. Highly recommend.
Clothes:
Athleisure >> honestly, athleisure is a fancy word for workout leggings you wear for everything but working out and I buy A LOT of them. These are just a few of the recent ones I’ve bought and loved, so much that I ordered more of the same pair (b/c duh): one / two / three / four / five. Honestly, the UNDER ARMOUR ones alone are AMAZING (and my butt looks fantastic in them).
Oversized, Crewneck, Fuzzy Chunky Sweater >> I have this in three colors and I love wearing it to work since my building is absolutely freezing. I used to think my offices at Disney were the coldest I’d ever have to endure, until I started working at TC. Boy do we freeze year round. This is another sweater, oversized as well but with more of a batwing structure, that I love.
Denim Dress >> I bought this in the medium wash denim, loved it so much that I ended up getting it in the red denim as well (and I have the pink in my shopping cart. What can I say? When I find something I love, I buy it in twenty colors.
Lightweight Packable Raincoat >> I live in Florida, where it always rains, so much so that I’m not sure why they call it the Sunshine State. Knowing that, I needed an easy, lightweight, waterproof rain jacket to keep at all times with me or to take on trips. This is it. I did not realize HOW waterproof it would be until I went on a water ride and nothing under the jacket was wet. it was PHENOMENAL. Where was this when I lived in Orlando and had to walk through hurricanes for work?
Denim Shorts >> since I’ve lost so much weight, I needed to snag a couple of pair of shorts for the Spring…I didn’t want to buy too much, given I’m still trying to lose weight, but I needed to supplement the ones that I no longer can wear. I got these cuties because they have a drawstring and I love them.
Levi’s Women’s 720 High Rise Super Skinny Jeans >> for me this was a HUGE win; I always order Levi’s and they NEVER fit me right. Since I have lost weight, I needed a pair of affordable jeans I could were to work and stuff without having to go to Nordstrom and buying new pairs that will not fit me in 2 months. When I found these, I was skeptical. I ordered three different pairs, but these were the ones. The fit is perfect and the style is exactly what I was looking for. I’m so happy with them!
Workout Onesies >> to be completely honest, I was not sure I would like these at all. I started with the short version, since I wasn’t sure how I would look in them and have since worn it three times. Now, I ordered the full length version (which just arrived today)so TBD on how they fit.,
Oversized Half Zip Sweatshirt >> I actually have this in a gray, khaki, and now I bought it one size down in a coffee grey. I’m obsessed and it’s one of my favorite sweaters of all times.
Melissa Women’s Possession Sandals >> I got these for the summer, especially for the water parks and Sarasota. They haven’t gotten here yet, but I’m excited to get them. I wanted to try and get those platform versions I’ve seen around, but I just couldn’t do it. At least these remind me of my 90’s outfits as a kid.
Disney / Universal:
Minnie Selfie Light >> ANOTHER influenced by TikTok purchase, but I am already obsessed and I haven;’t even taken it to the parks yet. It’s so easy to use and compact. OBSESSED. I bought this fan last year, but I’ve gotten so many compliments that I figured I should mention it again.
Amazon on Demand 100 Years of Disney T-Shirts >> I have never tried Amazon on Demand before, so I decided to order two for my trip to Orlando. Here are the ones I chose, which came out amazing! Disney 100 Anniversary Mickey Mouse Fireworks and Disney 100 Years of Wonder Mickey & Pals
Disney Crew Socks >> I have two different styles of Disney crew socks to switch it up when I go to the parks and I always get compliments on them once I’m there! one / two
Gryffindor Headband >> I mean, super self-explanatory. I’m obviously a Harry Potter fan and according to the online test, I am a Gryffindor so I definitely needed merch to wear when I go to the parks.
Gryffindor Socks >> if you haven’t noticed, I love themes so when I decided I was going to rock Gryffindor merch I bought these socks to go with the headband. Obsessed.
Electronics:
AirTags >> I have a few AirTags but I needed some more, and my aunt definitely needed some for her keys, so I ordered the four pack. I previously had the Tile and I hated it. These AirTags are not only more efficient and accurate, but they’re easier to use. I love them, especially when traveling.
AirTag Key Chains >> to hold the new AirTags I bought this set of key rings, which come in the cutest colors and actually offer really good protection.
iPad Case >> I have the purple iPad and originally, I had bought the purple version of this case, but then I realized I wanted a clear one so you could actually see the purple iPad so I bought this version. It’s one of the best cases I’ve ever had for my iPad and it brings a slot for the Apple Pencil
iPhone 14 Pro Max MagSafe case >> I will tell you that of all the cases I have (or have had) for my phones, this one is one of the best. The durability is amazing for the price and it’s such a sleek case.
AirPod Pro 2 Case >> I finally got the new AirPods because my aunt stole mine when she left hers in Orlando (she doesn’t know so don’t tell her) and I love them. This case is also super affordable, has a string so you don’t lose them, and it’s hard shelled so the casing of the AirPods won’t scratch.
AirPod Max Shell >> I like to make sure my devices are fully protected. Not just with warranties, but also with protective gear to maintain the originality of the device. I got these clear shells so I could put them on the AirPod Max to protect the ears from scratching.
iPad Charger (long) >> I needed an iPad charger that was longer than the charger we get with the device, so I ordered this one and it works super well. I currently have it plugged in next to my bed so I can charge while I read in bed.
Batteries >> this is actually the same battery for my AirTags and my car keys, so I bought a four pack to keep with me.
Home & Organization:
Neopêche Boy Smells Candle >> I am OBSESSED with this candle, so much so that I burned through one already and ordered a new one recently. It’s the best scent ever.
USB Lighter >> my older sister asked for one for Christmas and I was so intrigued, I had to order one. I have not used my old lighter once since I bought this, and I love it. It also holds a great charge.
Candle Trimmer Set >> I needed the trimming set for candles to make sure they burn correctly and get the full effect of the candle. I love this little set because it goes with my coffee table aesthetic.
Bookworm Blanket >> for my cousins birthday, I got her a blanket to use when she reads on her patio and I just couldn’t pass up getting one for me.
Makeup Organizer >> my little sister has been bugging me to send her ideas on how to organize her makeup, but before I could do that I had to actually organize mine. My dresser was a DISASTER, so last night I ordered these organizers for overnight delivery and OMG are they everything I ever wanted. I actually ordered three of them because I thought that they would fit everything perfectly, skincare included, and they really did. Here is how they look once organized and full of products:
Makeup Brush Organizer >> I got this for my brushes and I actually put it IN the organizers above so that everything would be truly neat and organized. I really was so proud of myself today.
Miscellaneous:
Vibrating Foam Roller >> I am still trying to figure out how to properly foam roll, but I do like this vibrating one. I was introduced to the concept after the Miami Half marathon by the Nike team and I had to get my own. Even though I have a theragun, there is something different about foam rolling (especially if it vibrates for your lower back).
NodPod >>I get migraines and I was looking for something that would add pressure to my eyes when I’m having a spell, but that also covered them enough to avoid light coming in. Google lead me to the NodPod and I use them so much more than I thought I would (even on days without a migraine).
Liquid IV >> I am a huge liquid IV fan, so I had to restock and when I did my sister stole some. I’m glad I got this bigger pack because now I have enough to stick in my bags and take with me on trips.
Leather Heart Shaped Bookmarks >> I didn’t know what to expect with these, but I am so happy with them. They would be a great gift to give people, especially those bookworms you know. You can even personalize them with a cricut or a sharpie if you want to be creative.
Touchland x Smiley Hydrating Hand Sanitizer >> I love Touchland hand sanitizer and I really wanted to get these smiley face ones to have. They are so easy to carry with you and smell so damn good.
I told you this post was going to have a lot. I feel like it’s important to note that these purchases were made over the last three months and not at once LOL
I’ve mentioned before I love Amazon, but there’s nothing better than knowing you can go to ONE place and get almost anything. Hope you enjoyed these recs, let me know if you want to see anything else!
