Wake up and Makeup: What I’m Currently Loving

I absolutely love to try new things, and because of this, I feel like I’m easily influenced when it comes to beauty products. I mean we are talking face products, skincare, hair care, and sometimes even dietary products. If someone recommends, talks, or raves about a product and it piques my interest, there is a 95% chance I will purchase it (I like to at least try it once) and it is because of this that I am writing this post.

I have a long list of items I’ve purchased and tried within the last three or four months that I find myself gravitating towards using on a more frequent basis. A lot of these items are for your face, so think skincare and makeup…even some tools! Disclaimer: I flip-flop between some of these products depending on my mood, where I am going, or what I am going to do but they are all products I currently have in my two Stoney Clover Large Pouches that I use for my current makeup and skincare stuff.

Disclosure: If you buy something through my links, I may earn an affiliate commission, at no cost to you. I only feature things I really love and would recommend. Thank you so much for your support!

  • La Roche-Posay Toleriane Hydrating Gentle Face Cleanser
    • I bought this cleanser at Ulta on a day I completely lost my mind and spent like $500, but it’s a purchase that I would make again. I have this cleanser in my shower and I absolutely love it. Granted, I do have like 12 cleansers, but this one is definitely one of my top five favorites. The size is great too because I feel like it’ll last me a few months before I run out and need to get another one.
  • Burt’s Bees 3 In 1 Micellar Facial Cleanser Towelettes
    • I discovered these wipes at Target last fall and became instantly obsessed. Instead of purchasing at Target, I now have a subscription on Amazon for them to replenish every other month. I absolutely love how clean my face feels after the fact and
  • ELEMIS Pro-Collagen Cleansing Balm
    • This was one of my Nordstrom Semi-Annual Sale purchases and I absolutely LOVE it, especially when I have a really heavy load of makeup on my face. It wipes EVERYTHING off at once and my face feels softer than ever after the fact. It’s definitely one of the top five I mentioned before.
  • Tatcha The Essence Skincare Boosting Treatment
    • I found this by chance one day when I was looking into a) what an essence was and b) if there was an alternate to the extremely bougie SK-II Essence. Since I received it, I use it daily before ANYTHING goes on my face and I’ve noticed it makes a difference in my face looking and feeling hydrated. Definitely putting it on my list for Christmas so I can get a new one!
  • Cerave Resurfacing Retinol Serum
    • This was another one of the purchases during my Ultra spree, and I’ve been using it since then. I like how my face looks after using this so I’ll definitely repurchase once I’m done; it is also a steal considering it has retinol!
  • Tula Skincare Glow & Get It Eye Balm
    • This was another one of the purchases during my Ultra spree, and I influenced my sister to buy it as well. I’ve seen this on IG for years and never bit the bullet until now, but I do love it. I want to try the rose one next, to see if I see a difference between the two (despite reports that they’re very similar).
  • OLEHENRIKSEN Strength Trainer Peptide Boost Moisturizer
    • I’ve raved about this product many times before, both here on the blog and on IG. I love this moisturizer and it has quickly become my go-to. I’ve run out of this moisturizer four times since I originally purchased it.
  • Embryolisse Lait-Crème Concentré, Face Cream & Makeup Primer
    • This is an “influenced by TikTok” purchase. I use it when I need a little more hydration than the Ole Henriksen gives me, and it’s thick so I can use it as a primer as well skipping the need for additional products after I put it on. I started with the travel size first to get a feel for the product and quickly purchased the regular size after that.
  • Drunk Elephant D-Bronzi Anti-Pollution Sunshine Drops
    • This is an “influenced by TikTok” purchase. Its a more recent purchase so I’ve only used it a handful of times, but now that my tan from the summer is disappearing I think it’ll become a holy grail item for me.
  • EltaMD UV Daily SPF 40 Tinted Sunscreen Moisturizer Face Lotion
    • My little sister LOVES this product, so on Prime Day I bought it and it quickly became a staple piece for me. I love the subtle glow it leaves as well. Definitely going to repurchase.
  • Shiseido Urban Environment Oil-Free Sunscreen Broad-Spectrum SPF 42
    • I love Shiseido and this SPF is so lightweight. I use it on days when I’m really not going anywhere or I’m running some errands and don’t use heavy makeup. It leaves a subtle glow as well and hydrates my face, unlike some other SPFs I’ve used in the past.
  • Charlotte Tilbury Hollywood Flawless Filter
    • Color: 3 Fair
    • I bought the mini version of this product at first because the full size was always sold out. Since then I’ve become obsessed, although I will say that a little goes a long way because I’m still using that mini size (I’m almost done, but still)! The color match was also spot on so I’ll definitely be repurchasing in FULL once I finish the little bottle.
  • e.l.f. Cosmetics Power Grip Primer
    • I found this one day at Target and instantly fell in love. It’s a great dupe for the Milk Makeup primer and at an even more affordable price. I use it on days I need a heavier load of makeup and it definitely makes sure the coverage lasts all night.
  • e.l.f. Cosmetics Poreless Putty Primer
    • Another spontaneous Target purchase. I feel like most of the e.l.f. cosmetic purchases I do are spontaneous, but at the same time, they’re usually always #WINS.
  • Saie Slip Tint Dewy Tinted Moisturizer SPF 35 Sunscreen
    • Color: Three + Half
    • On the days I wear light makeup, this is one of the tinted moisturizers I wear. It leaves such a subtle highlight on my face as well, which I love. It’s definitely the more glowy-tinted moisturizer I own.
  • Tower28 Beauty SunnyDays SPF 30 Tinted Sunscreen Foundation
    • Color: 20 Mulholland (current) / Color: 25 Ocean Park (summer/tanner days)
    • Over the summer I had to mix both colors 20 and 25 together to get the perfect shade, but now that my tan has faded I use color 20 daily. This is another lightweight tinted moisturizer, but it’s more subtle than the Saie one. I definitely say I gravitate to this one on a daily basis and I love how it looks finished.
  • Charlotte Tilbury Beautiful Skin Medium Coverage Liquid Foundation with Hyaluronic Acid
    • Color: 4 Neutral
    • I bought this when everyone was raving about it and it quickly became a staple. If I’m looking for more coverage than my tinted moisturizer, I turn to this baby. It’s hydrating and leaves my face looking flawless when I use it.
  • R.E.M. Beauty Sweetener Concealer
    • Color: Medium 1W
    • Influenced by TikTok doesn’t even cover it. I bought this on a whim and it quickly became a go-to. I also bought the R.E.M. Beauty sponge she sells, which I use exclusively with this, and I love it. Honestly, it reminds me of the KVD concealer and works EXTREMELY well with tattoos and dark spots that need extra coverage. Where was this when I worked at Disney?
  • Kosas Revealer Super Creamy + Brightening Concealer and Daytime Eye Cream
    • Color: Tone 3.2 O
    • I bought this because Hailey Bieber used it, you know as everyone else did! I love it and I use it exclusively to brighten my undereye area.
  • CLÉ DE PEAU BEAUTÉ Radiant Corrector for Eyes Liquid Concealer
    • Color: Beige
    • This is definitely more of a bougie buy for me. I started using this four years ago and I love it. It’s creamy without being too much and it truly works wonders on me.
  • Westman Atelier Face Trace Cream Contour Stick
    • Color: Biscuit
    • I use this as my bronzer on a daily basis; it’s actually my one and only cream bronzer.
  • Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Lip + Cheek Cream Blush Stick
    • Color: Petal / Color: Chouchette
    • I rotate between these two colors almost daily. My friend Nat influenced this purchase and when the Nordstrom Semi-Annual had a set on sale I jumped on it I won’t turn back now. I absolutely live for this cream blush.
  • Dior BACKSTAGE Rosy Glow Blush (currently SOLD OUT)
    • Color: Pink
    • This color is ALWAYS sold out. It’s extremely pink, which was different for me, but I love it.
  • Too Faced Papa Don’t Peach Blush
    • This blush has long been discontinued, but Amazon still has some! It’s definitely one of my absolute favorite blushes there ever was. I honestly do not know why brands discontinue items that are so incredibly popular. It’s a massive pet peeve of mine.
  • Kylie Skin Sugar Lip Scrub
    • I pick at my lips when they’re dry so I have been using this lip scrub almost daily. I love how it leaves my lips. If I’m not using the Kylie Lip Oil when I’m prepping my face, I definitely have this one. Works like a charm (tastes good too!).
  • Dior Addict Lip Glow
    • 000 Universal / 01 Pink
    • I think I first got this in a set and since then I’ve purchased like five of them. I use it daily as a balm, either clear or pink depending on my mood. It’s also extremely hydrating which I love because I pick at my lips when they’re dry.
  • Lip Oils
    • Dior Lip Glow Oil
      • Color: Rosewood / Color: 20 Mahogany.
        • This is the uber-popular lip oil that is ALWAYS out of stock at Sephora, however, I was able to snag two colors. When I tell you I use this ALL the time, I seriously mean it because I am truly obsessed with it. It can be worn on its own or on top of another lipstick.
    • Kylie Skin Lip Oil
      • Another lip oil I actually wear obsessively is this Kylie Skin one. I use it more as a primer lip oil, by this I mean while I’m putting on my face I’ll slap on a swipe or two to keep my lips hydrated, and then when I’m done with my makeup I’ll put one with a tint in it.
    • Clarins Lip Comfort Oil
      • Color: 02 Raspberry
      • I heard that the Clarins lip oil was a good alternative to the Dior Lip Oil so I jumped at the chance to try it. Of course, half of the world heard the same thing so only the raspberry color was available. I will say, considering it’s a more purple color, it leaves a subtle and beautiful tint on my lips. You’d never think that when you look at the color of the bottle.
  • ITEM Beauty By Addison Rae Lip Quip Clean Moisturizing Lip Gloss
    • Color: Hey Ya’ll
    • I was pleasantly surprised by how much I liked this lip gloss. Although not necessarily oil, it was a great price point and it’s extremely hydrating.
  • Kosas Cloud Set Baked Setting & Smoothing Powder
    • Color: Breezy
    • Another more “recent” purchase, but it’s one I have not stopped using it. The blurring results are unmatched. I really do love this product.
  • ONE/SIZE by Patrick Starrr Ultimate Blurring Setting Powder
    • I have two setting powders that I alternate using and this is one of them. I use it a lot to set underneath my eyes, it leaves such a natural finish.
  • GIVENCHY Prisme Libre Finishing & Setting Powder
    • This is my bougie setting powder, but good god does it leave my makeup looking fabulous. It really is magical. I want to buy the travel size, but it’s ALWAYS sold out when I go. Leaves such a gorgeous finish.
  • Charlotte Tilbury Airbrush Flawless Setting Spray
    • I had to buy the travel size of this product like the flawless filter because it is ALWAYS out of stock. I actually need to replenish mine right now, but I have to wait for it to become available again. I use it daily and it works wonders on setting my makeup.
  • Dior Airflash Radiance Mist Primer & Setting Spray (currently SOLD OUT)
    • I bought this over the summer with my little sister and I love it, however it is not easy to travel with because it’s a literal spray can, and it’s sold out. I think Nordstrom might sell it as well, but I wasn’t able to find it online so I’ll have to go check in person. Leaves my face super dewy and works as a primer AND setting spray Definitely love the two-in-one factor.
  • IL MAKIAGE Icon Lengthening Mascara
    • I love to stack mascaras, but I find myself gravitating towards this one A LOT lately. This week alone I have worn it every day with either the essence or the Makeup Revolution mascaras layered on top.
  • essence Lash Princess False Lash Effect Mascara
    • I saw this online as being one of the “best” mascaras and for the price, I was like, sure why not? WELL GOOD GOD. This shit is amazing. I use it almost daily with another mascara and the best part is the price. This is most definitely worth trying.
  • YSL The Curler Mascara / Lash Clash Extreme Mascara
    • These two mascaras I bought over the summer and I ended up using them a lot. I really love mascara and I probably have 20 of them that I use on a rotational basis. The YSL ones never disappoint and I find myself loving the outcome each time.
  • Makeup Revolution 5D Lash Mascara
    • I love to stack mascaras, but I find myself gravitating towards this one A LOT lately. This week alone I have worn it every day with either the essence or the Il Makiage mascaras layered on top.
  • Jessup Large Face Makeup Brushes
    • I have a lot of makeup brushes, but I bought these since TikTok claimed they were the dupes for the sold-out Morphe ones and I actually LOVE them. I alternate between these and my Hourglass Cosmetic brushes daily.
