Surprise! I Got a New Car!

I am so excited to share I leased a new car! Merry Christmas to me!! More like Merry Christmas, Happy Birthday to me & Enzo, Happy Promotion, and every special event 2020 had! My lease was going to be up in the new year and I had really wanted to trade up (if you asked anyone, my car was totally possessed!).

I knew exactly what I wanted; l’ve known all year really. We always buy our cars from a family friend, and this year was no different. It was this same family friend who had told me last year a new Mazda3 was going to be coming out to rival the Honda Accord. If you know me well enough you know I had two Honda Accords, the last of which was totaled in my car wreck five years ago.

So when I started actually considering trading up, I knew that I wanted to first look at the Mazda 3 Turbo 2.5 that had come out in the fall. I fell in love almost immediately. I screenshot the car and features, and called my mom. I told her that was the car I wanted and she started to work her magic with our family friend to see what he could do for me.

That same day, my mom called me. They had two cars left, of the one I wanted, white or black. I have always been a fan of white cars, and it’s been several cars since I had a white one so I chose that one. I went home, cleaned out my old car, and drove over to the dealership. Two hours later, I had my new baby ready to go!

I’m still debating what I will name her, but I’m thinking Mikela. I don’t know why, but I love the name!
