Shop With Me!

Since I’ve been working from home, my online shopping has almost tripled. I swear, almost every day something new is being ordered. It’s getting dangerously expensive! But I do love shopping and I have gotten some pretty great deals. Here’s a bit of what I have ordered, and what I am still expecting to arrive!

On it’s way:

  • Nordstrom:
  • Good American:
    • Good Leg Crop | Blue261 – ok, so real talk: these came in the mail today, but since I’ve been losing weight they were a teeny bit big. It was hard for me to decide to exchange them, but because I know I’m going to keep losing weight I did. They are the most PERFECT pair of ripped jeans I have ever tried on. The fabric was so incredibly soft, I can’t even explain to you how amazing these jeans looked and felt BUT I am losing weight so to get my money’s worth I asked for an exchange. They’re being processed, hence the on its way, as the big pair is going back tomorrow.
    • Good Curve Skinny | Blue190 – these are on their way, but I’m excited to try them. I’ve never tried the Curve Skinny style so I’m intrigued and I want to see how it fits on me. I usually get the Good Leg style and it’s fit great for years (I have four pairs already, I had five until they ripped down my butt in a training event for my work).
    • I also ordered two masks from GA so that they would donate to the healthcare field, so add those to the list as well!
  • Casetify:
    • I am a huge fan of Casetify’s cases, I have two already but I really wanted something to change up my phone…it’s getting boring, so I got the iPhone 11 Pro Impact Case – Neon Yellow customized with my name on the back.
    • Also ordered a case for my AirPod Pro’s and a band for my Apple Watch.
  • Olive & June:
    • The Everything Box – this is a brand I’ve seen all over Instagram, I’ve been wanting to try them for a long time but I usually do gel on my nails. With everything going on, I decided that I would get their manicure box that came with some polish and the tools to do a perfect at home mani. Advisory: I am absolutely HORRIBLE at doing my own nails, but they claim to have figured out how to help alleviate those issues.
  • Neophyte Jewels:
    • I’ve been waiting for this order for a few months, there were some issues with the shipping and then with the COVID-19 longer delays; Anna, the owner, has been a sweetheart I couldn’t have asked for anything more.
  • Tie Dye sweat suit – this I actually bought through an account I found on Instagram that makes tie dye sets and she’ll even do it in a color you want that she might not necessarily already have. I’m excited to get it, it shipped recently so hopefully in the next few days it’ll arrive. With all this working from home, I need something comfortable and cute to wear (in case they actually make me flip the camera on!)
  • Amazon:
    • Medicine ball – this is more to motivate me to work out; I hated using the medicine ball with my trainer at the gym, but it was much better than doing weights. So I am going to do some of those exercises with this, and use the Obe Fitness app for a fun mix. I’ll let you know how it goes.

Stuff I’ve received, but ordered during quarantine:

  • Nordstrom Rack:
    • Barefoot Dreams – Cozy Chic Baja Throw – I’ve actually been dying to order this blanket for probably a couple of years, but honestly I couldn’t pay close to $200 for a blanket. I much rather buy a pair of shoes or a purse for that amount. But last weekend it went on sale for less than $50! I couldn’t pass it up. It actually sold out, and somehow at 2 in the morning when I couldn’t sleep I checked again and they had ONE. So it’s mine, it got here today and I can already tell you it’s the best thing I have gotten. It’s so buttery soft. I can’t wait to go to sleep tonight!
  • Amazon:
    • Honestly, what haven’t I bought on Amazon in the last two weeks. Between Target and Amazon, I’ve gone to town! Anyway, for the sake of this post I am going to focus on the useful things.
      • Workout Slides – again, this is going to go with the medicine ball; however, these are much easier and they’re definitely quick to pack if I am going to go anywhere (which we can’t).
      • Face Masks – this seems to be a recurring purchase, I’m getting two from GA, I have some from my best friend’s kids store, and now I ordered these. A pack of ten fabric fat masks. This I got more for my cousin and uncle since they have been looking for some that they can reuse. The pack comes with 10 for $20. I thought it was worth it. It’s crazy what the world has come to that we need a face mask when we leave our houses.
      • Women’s Short Sleeve V-Neck Shirts Loose Casual Tee T-Shirt – this is another type of “hot ticket” item purchase. I am on the search for the “perfect” white t-shirt. Let me tell you, this came pretty close but the Madewell one was on sale and cost less so I’m waiting to see which I like better before I buy more.
      • Mellanni Striped Bed Sheet Set – Brushed Microfiber 1800 Bedding – Wrinkle, Fade, Stain Resistant – 4 Piece (Queen, White) – I saw this on a blogger I follow’s Instagram/LikeToKnowIt. I have a set that is very similar, but I was over it. My aunt has a bunch of extra ones laying around but I didn’t really like the feel of them and these come very highly recommended.
      • Candle Wicks – so this was a purchase that I thought I was going to need, and actually haven’t…yet. I was able to finish burning one of my most prized candles without having to melt it and re-wick it but I definitely won’t be returning them because you never know when your candle is going to stop burning correctly. Especially with how much I seem to be using my candles!
      • iPhone Tripod – this one I’ve actually used quite a bit already and I’m really excited because I actually love how flexible it is so it makes taking awkward angle pictures pretty easy. It even comes with a button so I don’t necessarily need to setup my timer. I guarantee you this will be something I will use during and after this quarantine.
      • Maybelline Dream Fresh BB Cream and Maybelline Dream Pure BB Cream – so I actually bought both of these, and I tested them together. Which I really liked. They were extremely lightweight and gave the perfect amount of coverage without feeling icky. I have a really hard time wearing foundation, I feel like it’s too heavy on my face so it doesn’t look natural (in my opinion) but these were actually really good. I’m excited to keep using them, and you can’t beat the price.

Originally, I wasn’t going to include my current “wish list items” on this post but since it falls under the theme of shopping – why the hell not!

This is great!! I use to work at Nordstrom and if you live in an area that has a Nordstrom Rack I highly recommend going!! I use to always go and shop their clearance rack… I was luck to get a MadeWell cardigan for like 12.75 šŸ˜

I love the Rack! My favorite one hands down is in New York, but we have a few good ones in Miami. I usually shop in-store at the Rack versus online, but with the current situation I’ll take anything I can get!

This is great and so relatable! My amazon shopping has gotten out of hand during Quarantine.
