Sephora Sale Must-Haves: What I Actually Use, Love & Keep Reaching For

For this Sephora sale I really forced myself to pause, take inventory, and ask: what am I actually using?
Not what’s trending.
Not what I bought once and forgot about.
But what I consistently reach for: daily, weekly, without even thinking twice.
To figure that out, I did something a little different. I went product by product, order by order, narrowing everything down to the items I genuinely use and love — the ones I would repurchase again and again. The ones that have quietly become an important part of my routine.
Everything in this post (and in my ShopMy) made the cut for a reason.
The Base Routine I Keep Coming Back To
I’ve realized lately that I’m very much in my “effortless but polished” makeup era.
The products I keep reaching for are the ones that make me feel put together without feeling heavy or overdone.
The DIOR Forever Skin Perfect Foundation Stick has been a standout — it’s quick, easy, and gives that smooth, perfected finish without looking like too much.
Another option I’ve come to love is the M.PH by Mary Phillips Le Skin Weightless Foundation (and her foundation brush), it’s that soft, skin-like base I always want but don’t always achieve.
And to lock everything in, the YSL All Hours Hyper Finish Setting Powder and the Saie Slip Tint Setting Powder have both been in constant rotation depending on the vibe.
The Products That Make a Visible Difference
These are the products where I’ve actually noticed a change — and that’s always what makes something worth recommending.
The Dr. Idriss lineup has been a huge part of that for me lately (Thanks Katie for the rec, I’m now OBSESSED).
From the Major Fade Hyper Serum to the Active Seal Moisturizer, the Dark Spot Mask, and the Left Un-Red collection — these are the products I’ve been consistently reaching for when I want my skin to look more even, calmer, and overall healthier.
The Barrier Baste lip products are also so good — especially if your lips need a reset.
Two other products, I’ve been loving since having received them in gifting, that have become staples in my routine are the Clarins Double Serum and Total Eye Lift — they have given me that extra glow and created a smoothing effect that just makes everything look better.
Makeup I Reach For Without Thinking
You know those products that you don’t even question — you just grab them?
That’s this category.
The Yves Saint Laurent Lash Clash Mascara and Kosas Soulgazer Mascara are both constantly in rotation, so is the Tartelette Lengthening and Tubing Mascara.
The YSL Make Me Blush Powder Blush and Tarte Macaron Blush & Glow Duo have been my go-to for that soft, flushed look.
And for lips, I’ve been loving:
– Dr. Idriss Barrier Baste Moisturizing Lip Balm
– Summer Fridays Lip Tint
– Rhode Peptide Lip Treatments (all versions)
– YSL Loveshine Lip Oil Stick
– Tarte Maracuja lip products
It’s very much a glossy, hydrated, effortless lip moment lately.
Hair Care That’s Actually Working
Hair has been a focus lately, and I’ve been very intentional about what I’m using.
The K18 system (leave-in mask, dry shampoo, and heat protectant) has been a game changer. I honestly am so grateful to K18 for sending me their products, because I am now a fanatic and will never be the same again.
I’ve also been loving:
– Davines LOVE smoothing shampoo & conditioner
– Kérastase Première repair system
– RŌZ styling oil and milk serum
And tools-wise, the Mane Jumbo Round Brush and ready or knot detangling brush have made styling so much easier.
Also — Messy by Alli Webb dry shampoo is one of those products I will always repurchase. It was the first dry shampoo that I felt like WORKED for my hair. I’m very picky, and Alli Webb was able to impress me (no surprise there).
Little Extras That Elevate Everything
These are the things that aren’t necessarily necessary… but make everything feel better.
Rhode Skin has been everywhere in my routine — the glazing mist, eye patches, lip treatments, pocket blush — all of it.
My sister swears by the Summer Fridays eye patches, and I swear by the lip sets so they have been on repeat.
And for scent, I’ve been rotating between:
– Phlur Vanilla Skin
– Glossier You + You Fleur
– Maison Louis Marie candles
It’s very much a “soft, warm, cozy but elevated” vibe.
The Things I Didn’t Expect to Love This Much
There are always a few products that surprise you.
For me, it’s been:
– Alpyn Beauty sculpting and peptide serums
– Arencia cleanser
– Salt & Stone deodorant
And honestly… even the little things like Emi Jay clips and hair accessories have been making a difference in my everyday routine.
Why This List Is Different
I didn’t want this to be another overwhelming list of everything you could buy.
I wanted it to be a curated edit of what I actually use.
These are the products I reach for when I’m getting ready without thinking.
The ones sitting on my counter, in my bag, in constant rotation.
The ones I would genuinely repurchase.
Final Thoughts
The Sephora sale isn’t about buying more — it’s about buying better.
For me, that looks like:
– Restocking what I already love
– Investing in products that actually work
– And choosing things that make my everyday routine feel a little more elevated
If you want to shop everything I’ve been loving (and everything I took the time to go through product by product), it’s all linked in my ShopMy.
Because if I’m recommending it, I’m using it.
