Read My IG Handle
I saw someone I follow on Instagram do this trend where they write out their IG handle using books, they liked, that corresponded with each letter in the handle. I, of course, felt as though I needed to try this and let me tell you….it was a LOT harder than I anticipated. First of all, I could barely find a book I read that started with the letter K (and I did not want to cheat by putting a book that started with “the” before the K).
Not only was it hard to find all the books associated with the corresponding letter, but for some letters I struggled picking just ONE option! I mean there are so many books on my Goodreads that I absolutely loved and had to pick between! Here’s a list of the books I ended up choosing:
K – Keep This to Yourself by Tom Ryan
R – Reminders of Him by Colleen Hoover
I – In the Likely Event by Rebecca Yarros
S – Say You Swear by Megan Brandy
T – Things We Left Behind by Lucy Score (book #3 of the Knockemout Series – a favorite of mine)
E – Every Summer After by Carley Fortune
N – Nineteen Minutes by Jodi Picoult
J – Just Don’t Fall by Emma St. Clair
A – American Dirt by Jeanine Cummins
U – Ugly Love by Colleen Hoover
R – Romantic Comedy by Curtis Sittenfeld
E – Enjoy the View by Sarah Morgenthaler
G – Girl with No Job: The Crazy Beautiful Life of an Instagram Thirst Monster by Claudia Oshry
U – Untying the Knot by Meghan Quinn
I – It Ends with Us by Colleen Hoover
I – Icebreaker by Hannah Grace
The bolded choices are titles that I absolutely love and highly recommend to people when they ask me what books I can suggest them. Nineteen Minutes is actually one of my absolute favorite books written by Jodi Picoult, and that’s saying a lot because she is an incredible writer and I love several books by her. American Dirt, I read during COVID and it left a lasting memory. It’s definitely on the controversial side when picking themes to read, but it truly was an amazing read. Colleen Hoover is on the list SEVERAL times because I’m obsessed with her books, but the three listed are probably some of my favorites of hers. I also love reading books Meghan Quinn has written. I’ve read several of them and I always recommend them, especially if you’re looking for spice. In the Likely Event by Rebecca Yarros touched me in so many ways; I literally cried reading it. Another book that made me cry was Say You Swear, but good god was that books amazing. HIGHLY recommend it.
You can always check out what I am reading or what is on my TBR by following me on Goodreads. I’m also trying to post more on TikTok about what books I’ve read and what I recommend to people! I also recently posted what I’ve read in 2024 and a review of the Mindf*ck Series that you can check out!
