Currently…

I am SO happy to tell you I am on book FIVE of 2021! I finished reading Educated yesterday, and I am starting Dear Edward tonight. I AM SO PROUD OF MYSELF. You have no freaking idea. I’m off to a great start in 2021 with my reading goal, here is to hoping it doesn’t fizz out. Will this be the first year I actually hit and/or surpass my reading goal? It better be!

On the work front, it was a short but rough week. We are kicking off in high gear a second production that will overlap with the current one filming, It’s going to get a little busier over the next few weeks, but that’s just one of my favorite things about my job.

Tuesday was Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’s inauguration and boy was it eventful. I don’t think I’ve ever watched or cared to watch an inauguration, and to be 100% honest I have never wanted or cared to watch CNN and MSNBC more than I have in the last three weeks! I now, instead of Law & Order or Criminal Minds, go to bed with CNN playing. Sometimes when I can’t sleep in the night I turn it back on and snooze listening to the insanity Trump was spitting out in the last week. But that is now over, and a new era has begun! One filled with hope and inspiration.

Most of the things I’ve ordered for the ski trip have started to arrive. I pretty much have all the things I’m going to take, with the exception of a few things that are delayed. My gloves came today and are SO incredibly warm, I am so excited. I got most of my stuff on Amazon and my thermals are from Uniqlo. I got a few sweaters coming from Nordstrom (hence the delay). On a unrelated to my ski trip shopping, I bought another (my fourth pair) of Good American Good Sweats. I am seriously addicted, and Nordstrom had a sale so why the fuck not? They are the most comfortable pair of sweats I own, I’d throw out the 20 other pairs – I’m that committed.

I actually almost forgot to share that I am going back to school! I decided I am going to apply for a Masters in International Business, with the intention of getting a dual degree so when I graduate I’ll have two more Master’s degree! I can’t wait. I need to work on the application process this weekend. I haven’t had to write an essay in three years.
