Coming back from a week off was both a blessing and a curse. I was so bored during my “vacation”/birthday week that I was looking forward to Monday…until Monday arrived, of course. This week has literally flown by. Between production drama, payroll, and catching up on emails I feel like I blinked and boom, it’s almost Friday! Although next week is a short one, because of Thanksgiving, it’s going to be a busy one.

Thanksgiving is my favorite. I love it so much more than Christmas, even my birthday and of course, after Thanksgiving comes Black Friday and cyber Monday. Which I am super pumped about. I already have an idea of what I want to buy my older sister and I already bought and wrapped my little sister’s Christmas present. But everyone else? Yeah, I have no idea. I can barely figure out what the hell I want to put on my Christmas list…how am I supposed to figure out what to buy everyone on my list. 2020 has been such a crazy and f*cked up year, that it almost feels anticlimactic to have a successful and peaceful holiday season.

I’ve actually, surprisingly, been feeling good lately. Normally, after my birthday, I slip into a funk but not this year. I guess I’ve just had such a great couple of weeks (minus some mishaps), that my brain has been distracted. Between my promotion, my birthday, the GEM award, and now Thanksgiving I feel like 2020 might not turn out to be as bad as I thought. Hopefully I can keep feeling this way, and avoid the dramatic funk this year. Enzo’s birthday is already getting kinda complicated thanks to a stay at home order Chicago has placed. Now I have to find an alternate distraction for that weekend. Disney anyone?

Stay tuned. I have some fun posts I’m thinking up, hopefully you’ll like them too!
