To quote my boss, this week was a weird one. It started off okay, but quickly took a left turn into Crazy-town. I am so happy that it’s over. Tomorrow is the Every Girl RISE conference and I couldn’t be more excited. I’ve been looking forward to it for a few weeks now. I received my VIP box earlier this week and I absolutely loved it, it was everything I thought it’d be and more. I also just scheduled my “Everygirls Rise Masterminders” session with Anddria Clack-Rogers Varnado. She is such a powerhouse, and a badass woman whom I look forward to learning from! You can read more about her here in Forbes.

Last week I posted about things I was currently waiting on to come in, that I had ordered online. Now that they’re here, I wanted to give you my honest opinion: the dae Prickly Pear Hair Oil is everything it’s hyped up to be, and more. I love it so much. In the short week I’ve had it, my hair has seriously benefited from it. It works great on wet AND dry hair. I noticed that I gravitate towards it more than my blow dry primer; it detangles my hair and it hydrates my ends that are usually a bit drier than the other parts of my hair. Another purchase that deserves praise is the new Kylie Skin clarifying products. I haven’t used the detox mask yet, but I have used the facial oil and the complexion correction stick. Good God that complexion correction stick is amazing. In the week I’ve had the products, the one area of concern I had disappeared without a trace. Almost like it was magic!

I think I’ve mentioned before that my sister and I were creating a side business with the cricut I ordered named Le Petite Paquet. Well, Le Petite Paquet is now live on Instagram and Poshmark. We’re slowly building our inventory, but I did get some really exciting things in today that are going to be awesome additions to our packets! I sent my boss’s daughter a back to school kit that she loved, my best friend’s birthday gift from me was a “FRIENDS” TV Show themed package, and now we’re working on two more orders that will help us spread the concept around Instagram. Can’t wait to get things up and running full time because these are definitely things I would order myself, so hopefully someone else will order from us!

My SheIn orders came in, and I couldn’t be happier with it! It never ceases to amaze me how nicely the shoes and items I order look in person. Of course, there is always the possibility that it doesn’t look exactly how you pictured it, but I haven’t had that situation happen to me – yet. Since my orders came in, of course I placed another order for some cute dresses and graphic tee.

My little sister’s best friend just launched a clothing line so I helped contribute to her line by ordered some cute stuff. I am excited to get it in; I received notification this morning that it shipped.

I do have one more order pending, that hasn’t been shipped, but TBD on whether I keep it or not. I haven’t decided if it was worth the splurge. I’ll wait til it arrives to make my final decision.

I do have more stuff coming from Amazon, and I finally finished my books so I’m moving on to the next one. Hopefully I can focus and finish it because on Tuesday, September 1 the sequel to American Royals comes out! I pre-ordered it so it should be here on Tuesday! I can’t wait.
