BÉIS Large Work Tote: My Review
A little while back, I was shopping at the Nordstrom Rack when I came across the display for the BÉIS Work Tote. I immediately started to debate whether I was going to get the beige or the black, because I had been on the hunt for a work bag that would fit all my shit in it. I had tried my Stoney Clover Lane totes, my Longchamp totes, and some other bags I had at home, but nothing felt right. Until I bought this bag.
I had seen a lot of influencers post about the BÉIS bag on TikTok, but I hadn’t come across it yet and I wasn’t willing to dish out the cash for a bag I wasn’t sure I was going to like in person. Then I found it at the Rack, and I immediately bought it. Since then, I haven’t used another bag for work since then!
The dimensions of the bag are 16.75″W x 13.5″H x 7″ (42.5cm x 34.25cm x 17.75cm). I bought the beige leather style, which weighs just under 3 pounds before you stick stuff in it. The bag has a zipper closure and a leader shoulder strap (which I have yet to use). It has a zipper pocket on the outside with a pocket for a water bottle on the other side. There is a trolley pass-through slip pocket on back with top and bottom zipper closure that creates an additional pocket when not being used for travel.
On the inside, there is a removable vegan leather pouch with zipper big enough to fit my MacBook and/or iPad. It also has a padded laptop pocket with a magnetic closure (fits a laptop up to 15″). There are also two small slip pockets and two pen pockets, a key leash, and another zipper pocket.
The bag really is spacious and fits two Stoney Clover small pouches, my agenda, my Coach folio notebook, and my AirPod Max’s in the space inside once it’s filled. My water bottle fits on the side (I haven’t tried my Stanley in the drink pocket, but my Yeti does fit.
I have not traveled with this bag, yet, but I do feel like it would be a great carry-on as well. I actually love that the zipper pouch detaches because it is easy to stick my chargers and stuff inside it, and when I don’t need those, I just pop the pouch out and go about my day.
Overall, I am really glad I bought this bag, and it is worth paying full price (but finding it reduced price is obviously better). I’ll be posting a video on my TikTok with an in-depth review showing everything I fit in it, which you can find here.
