Update on 2022 Goals

We are now going to be EIGHT months into 2022 and sadly, I have not done half the stuff I told myself I would do this year – which, in my opinion, I find to be extremely depressing.

Here is an update on the goals I set for myself:

  1. Promotion >> still working towards this, maybe in the 3rd/4th quarter of the year (fingers crossed)
  2. Lose weight >> I am happy to say I’ve lost 10 pounds, now if I could just get back on track and lose the remaining 30 by year-end I’ll be happy.
  3. Train for Marathon >> Working on this. I signed up for the Dopey Challenge in January 2023. I was supposed to start training a month ago, but I got COVID and I’m still recovering so it has, sadly, cut my training by 6 weeks.
  4. Drink more water >> I thought I would be in a better place with this, but it’s still a work in progress.
  5. Save money >> work in progress. Let’s just leave it at that.
  6. Read 50 books >> I’ve had to reduce to 45, but I’m still 9 books behind schedule. Maybe now that I’m done with school I can catch up on this (maybe even bump it back to 50?).
  7. Travel to 3 new places >> only gone to two new places: Reno and Tahoe
  8. Go out with new people/network >> I did this once, still need to do more
  9. Go on dates >> I’ve been on two this year. I guess that’s better than none!

I’m not sure if I’ll be much more productive in the last four months of the year, but here is to hoping I can make it work!
