Springtime Shopping Spree

Two weeks ago I went up to Orlando to visit Epcot’s Flower & Garden Festival, and while I was there we decided hit up the Vineland outlets and do some shopping at Downtown Disney. Of course, with Spring well underway I knew it was time to load up on what I would be wearing for the next few months during Miami’s scorching heat.

First up was Uniqlo at Downtown Disney (it’s now called Disney Springs, but I refuse to call it that). My aunt is a huge fan of this store, but I’ve never really found anything I love…this time though, I bought a handful of v-neck tops. I had bought a few of their tops last time and really loved the quality, and with the heat we get through the summer I knew I needed something easy, breezy to wear.

Next, we headed to the outlets. First stop at the outlets was J.Crew. Boy, oh boy did I go on a spree! I bought several pairs of their drawstring linen blend shorts and several of the “girlfriend t-shirts” in a variety of colors. I also bought a new pair of pajama shorts in tie-dye (because why not).

After J.Crew, I wandered over to Lululemon’s outlet, where I bought a pair of fun neon blue leggings in the Swift Speed High-Rise Tight 28″, along with too many scrunchies I didn’t need, and a crossbody bag for my mom to take on her trip to Istanbul (purchased with the sole intention of stealing the bag when she gets back).

Once I wrapped up at Lululemon, we went over to the Loft outlet. I’ve always been a huge fan of the loft, but I haven’t had much luck lately…until this visit. I bought some more linen blend drawstring shorts. They had so many great pants on sale for when we actually return to wearing regular clothes, but I wasn’t ready to commit to those yet so I kept with the trend of the pull-up shorts. It’s actually because of this that I declare 2021 the year of no buttons, on my shorts, allowed. After Loft, we hit up GAP where I also bought more drawstring shorts…but I did cave in and I bought one pair of denim shorts (with buttons that is). As much as I love the pull up, stretchy shorts, I knew I had to have at least one pair of denim shorts that fit me this summer.

Once I got back, of course, the shopping didn’t stop. As I mentioned before, Sephora was having their spring saving sale so I went overboard, per usual, and bought a bunch of stuff I definitely didn’t need. I also bought my mom her Mother’s Day present, my Mother’s Day present, and some more cute pull up shorts from Target.

What are you looking at adding to your spring wardrobe?
