One Epic Playlist
Music is a form of therapy for me. Some people like to talk, I like to listen. It doesn’t matter what genre, music is my love language. Songs from different times in my life that remind me of the good, bad, ugly, and wonderful.
For the most part, I have throwback songs and current songs, but today I combined them into one epic playlist. Songs from the 70’s, 80’s, 90’s, 00’s, 10’s, and now 20’s mixed in one giant playlist. At the time I write this post, there are 916 songs. That could change by the time you read this.
If you have Apple Music, I have shared the playlist with my public profile. You can listen to it here.
Honestly, I can’t work, study, or even concentrate most of the time without music. I grew up listening to it constantly. If I was put in “timeout” and “sent to my room” (which, BTW, barely ever happened) I would blast music while I read, played gameboy, spent time on the computer, you name it…music was usually always playing.
I guess you can say I get it from my dad. He loves music just as much as I do. I grew up going to concerts. I’ve probably seen most, if not all, of my absolute favorite artists live (there are some exceptions, BSB and Spice Girls to be exact, where I never got the chance to see them live). My aunt used to go with me to concerts as a kid, and as I got older I would go with friends, my boyfriend at the time, sisters, etc. I absolutely love going to concerts, and my last concert pre-COVID is also going to be the first I see post-COVID (Jo Bro’s here we come!).
I really want to do a list of all the artists I’ve seen live, and who I am missing…maybe make it into a bucket list item in the long run, that would be fun.
