New Normal

Today we had our first team virtual happy hour. It’s funny how this is quickly becoming our new normal around these parts. People all over the world are forced to use technology in a way many millennial have already been doing. Most people love them, some people hate then, others are somewhere in between.

Although I do love to FaceTime my friends, I can’t tell you I feel the same about doing these virtual meetings with my team. It’s slowly becoming a normal for me, but it’s not the way I would have chosen to interact with them. I miss being able to go into the office or go to the corner bar after a long week for a quick Friday night drink.

It’s been hard working remotely for me, mostly because I do miss that socialization factor that came with going into the office for work!
