New Finds: My Latest Product Obsessions

If you have not already, you will soon come to realize that I love to shop. I’ve said it in previous posts and TikTok Videos, especially when I’ve done hauls, but you’ll definitely see it in this post as well. Another thing you’ll realize is that even if I think the product is great, I will not recommend it to anyone until I’ve used it multiple times and can confirm that it is indeed worth purchasing. It doesn’t matter if you’re my best friend, family, or whether the product costs $2 or $200 – I will not recommend it until I know it’s worth buying/purchasing.

The Shopaholic Strikes Again

This post is going to discuss the products that I have purchased within the last month and that I have used at least three or more times and, having determined that the products are worth talking about and/or recommending, I see myself using them long-term.

Originally, I was thinking about splitting it up by type, but I felt like that might be more confusing when trying to distinguish between brand new products, products I’ve mentioned before, and products that I have repurchased.

Instead, I’m going to break it up into those categories, but in this order: repurchased, previously mentioned, and brand new.

*Keep in mind that the previously mentioned products were probably skimmed over/mentioned in a haul post (both TikTok and on my blog). You can consider this post as the official “endorsement/recommendation” of the product. *

As a reminder, these are linked here (I get a small affiliate commission if you shop through my link) and they’re also included on my TapTo.Shop page in the Shopping Haul list!

Repurchased

These products are all items that I have been using for an extended period of time and have truly loved them. In the case of the Free People jeans and Rael serum (I’m sure I sound like a broken record, but they are THAT GOOD that I bought them again). Sorry, not sorry!

I’m a huge Kérastase stan and I have like four different types of their shampoo/conditioner lines in my shower at this moment. However, that being said, the Première Repairing for Damaged Hair line has very quickly become my absolute favorite that I’ve tried. I’m seeing significant results, despite the fact that I switch back and forth between other types and brands, I find myself coming back to these products more than the other Kérastase ones that I have.

Again, broken record, but I absolutely freaking LOVE the Rael beauty products I’ve been using. I have not had to repurchase the cleanser yet, of course that is because when I first bought the cleaners I fell into an instant love affair and ran to buy a second one for my shower. Yes, I like the products THAT much. Don’t judge.

Honestly, the same thing applies for the following two pairs of jeans. The Free People “We The Free Good Luck” barrel jeans are my absolute freaking favorite pair of jeans. It helps that they are pink. I love them so much, and have had so many compliments on them, that the minute my fake button stopped working I bought a new pair. I was afraid they’d run out, because they’re typically sold out, and I was not willing to risk losing them. You can basically repeat the above statement in regards to the Universal Threads “Super Wide Leg” jeans. I bought them, wore them, became obsessed with them, stopped being about to wear them, and instantly repurchased them. The thing with jeans is that I wear them year round, at work, when I go out, running errands, etc. so it doesn’t matter if I have 20 pairs. I’ll use them all.

Previously Mentioned

Now, the “previously mentioned products”, are all products I briefly mentioned in a haul post and/or skimmed over on TikTok. As I mentioned above, consider this my formal endorsement and recommendation of the product. I’ve used them multiple times and see long-term use, and eventually repurchasing, in my future.

The first previously mentioned and skimmed over item is the Blake Lively hair care line from Target. Roughly two or three weeks ago, I mentioned that I had used the Blake Brown shampoo and conditioning mask for the first time and loved it. However, like I mention repeatedly, I won’t recommend it until I know I like it.

I’ve used the Strengthening Shampoo and Strengthening Mask roughly four times (again, in between my washes with the Kérastase products) and absolutely loved the outcome. I should have known after my initial first impression that I would like these products, but I wanted to be sure. I was able to finally track down and order her Nourishing Shampoo and Nourishing Mask, because they have been sold out in a lot of places. Those should be coming at some point next week, so I’ll keep you posted on which of the two I prefer.

The Leave-In Potion was an “after the fact” purchase, it was originally sold out when I purchased the products, but I have used it after every single hair wash (both Kérastase and Blake Brown) and from that first impression to now, I love it. It doesn’t just smell delicious, it actually works. I feel like I should prefix this by saying, for me personally, that it actually works is HUGE. Leave-in conditioners that work, and I like, are very hard for me to find.

The following two purchases were additions to the jean collection of mines. I briefly skimmed them in my haul post and video on TikTok, because I hadn’t really gotten to wear them often. Now that I have, and for the price that I paid, they’re amazing options to have. I’ve rocked them several times already, on dates and at work, and I love when people compliment me. Sometimes I don’t even want to tell them where they’re from, and totally gatekeep them, but that’s not who I am.

If you’ve been around, you know that I love (and I do mean LOVE) the Skims pajamas. I have so many pairs of them, in both shorts and pants, and I LIVE for them…the problem is that I don’t want to be spending $120 every time I want a new pajama. These Auden ones from Target are the closest I’ve come to finding in terms of comfort and softness of the material. They are so cute, so comfortable, and so affordable. I bought three pairs of them: the blue, the black, and the palm print. I just told my sister to buy them too, I’ve become obsessed with them.

Lastly, these were mentioned also, are the two watch bands I bought for my Disney trip a few weeks ago. I’m going to do a different post about what I take and use when I’m at Disney, but I wanted to include these because I have found myself wearing them in Miami too! Actually, I’m currently wearing the Winnie the Pooh one on my watch. The most important thing to mention is that they work for the 38mm/40mm/41mm, the 42mm/44mm/45mm and the 49mm (the Ultra). I actually have the Ultra, and I was afraid it wouldn’t fit, but it did and I’ve been using them a lot (even beyond Disney).

Brand New Products

Now for the fun! These are all considered “NEW” products for me. If I’ve mentioned them before, I don’t remember LOL (sorry?). I’ve actually been pleasantly surprised with some of these. Of course, per usual, there are some that I had in the back of my mind and have been wanting to try or buy and then there are some that I randomly found and decided to give a try.

The first is the Kérastase Anti-Frizz serum, followed by the dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream. I’ve been hesitant to buy the dae Cactus Fruit 3-in-1 Styling Cream in the big size because I’ve tried so many of these products and been unsuccessful in finding the right one for me, so when they came out with the wand, I jumped at the chance to try it. I will say that I need to buy the full size, because the wand is really more for touchup purposes, but it gave me the chance to try the product without committing to the large price tag (the regular size runs for $30). With the Kérastase, I knew I would like it given that the line is honestly my favorite from the brand, but I have been burned before by these types of products, so I waited for the right time to bite the bullet and buy it. So far, I’ve used it a handful of times (along with the Blake Brown Leave-In Potion) and I have been loving the results. Instant YES in my eyes.

The next product I actually found via the brand asking me to endorse the product. Since I received the item, I have been using it and for several affected areas too! I’ve used it along my bikini line, on my face, and even on my legs. I have a few dark spots from years of being in the sun and from bikini maintenance, and this cream has been working really well. The consistency is more like a gel than an actual cream, and it doesn’t have a smell that immediately turns me off. I definitely see myself using this product long-term, especially in the Summer months.

I actually stumbled across the Good Molecules serum when I was researching the brand and their products. Despite already having a huge pool of serums to use, I wanted to try something that would continue to moisturize my skin. So far, this serum has been working really well and I use it in conjunction with the Rael serum mentioned above. I’m excited to keep trying more of the brands products, they’ve officially attracted a new fan.

Lately, I’ve been having a hard time falling asleep and I was starting to get desperate when I remembered that I used sleep patches during COVID that worked really well. Well, while I was looking for those patches, I discovered the Vitamasques ones and instead went with these. They’re more affordable than the others and they surprisingly work. My older sister is going to be buying them for my brother-in-law to try as well. He seems to be an insomniac like me!

Another purchase for Disney was this cooling towel set. My best friend and her husband were asking if I had any, and I couldn’t find my moms, so I ordered them. I actually REALLY liked using them at Disney, and with the tips they give you they worked really well. The best part was that they really kept their cool. Again, pleasantly surprised and I definitely see myself using them every time I go to Disney.

And finally, these last few things are pieces of clothing. The shorts from Free People, of which I bought two, were a spontaneous purchase because I had a credit, and I decided just to bite the bullet. So far, I’m loving the shorts and will be buying more colors. I haven’t been able to find a dupe of them that I like as much, so I don’t mind buying them full price.

The Universal Thread jeans are actually a pair of jeans I discovered via TikTok and I figured, if I loved the super-wide leg that I’d probably like these too! Just so you know, I do. They’re not as wide as the other pair, and feel more of a straight leg version of wide leg jeans. To give you a better idea, they feel very Good American (which I think is a huge compliment to Universal Threads).

Lastly, the Forever21 Disney mini dress was something that I accidentally stumbled upon when I was making a SHEIN return at Forever and it might be my favorite purchase yet. Of course, I wore it at Disney but I also wore it to my nephew’s first birthday party. It’s so comfortable and easy to throw on, while still looking put together and cute. I almost wish Forever21 had more of the dresses, in a variety of colors, because I would totally buy more of them (Disney or not, the dress is that good).

I cannot believe that I almost forgot to mention the items I bought from one of my FAVORITE brands: SKIMS!!! I originally thought that these would be considered repurchases, just in different colors, but then I realized that the style I picked for all of the items was NEW! That excited me even more, because I’m literally obsessed with SKIMS. I’d say SCL and SKIMS are tied being my biggest obsessions in the Fashion world. I think I previously mentioned some of these, but I didn’t want to split them up because I can’t remember what I did mention and what I didn’t. Oops.

I literally can’t get enough of this SKIMS relaxed tee…it just vibes perfectly with everything I wear!

And that is everything I had to update you on, for the time being! I have a few more Stoney Clover things coming, so I’ll do a post about that another day. That post will be a more in-depth view of my obsession with the brand…which is huge. My cousin teased me that I am unwell, and I completely agree. I’ve never denied my obsession with SCL, and I acknowledge that I have a problem (LOL). You’ll see.

As always, don’t forget to check out my previous posts, TikTok and Instagram accounts. I’m trying to post more and more all over the place, so check me out. I appreciate your views 😀
