Manifesting 2022
Happy New Year!
I know I am 19 days too late, but this is the first post of 2022 so I wanted to say Happy New Year!
January is at just beyond the mid-way point and it has been some crazy shit. The new year started with most people I know having COVID, granted that went on during Christmas as well, but it still put a damper on the new year.
Pa’olo flew into Miami the 6th, and we drove up to Orlando on the 7th for the WDW Marathon weekend. We spent a few days at Universal, I finished the Half Marathon (not back at my pre-swollen ankle pace but I’m getting there!), and then we came back and school restarted.
Two weeks into the semester and it’s only just beginning.
Before the New Year, I created a vision board for this year and I wanted to share it. I don’t think I’ve ever actually made one before, instead I just set goals that I never end up reaching. However, I decided that this year would be different.
I had a bunch of magazines laying around the house from the one day I went to Barnes and Nobles (don’t ask). Honestly, I ALWAYS end up spending a fortune when I go to B&N because I buy every magazine I see…not to mention more books that I don’t need because I have over 30 waiting for me at home!
Anyway, back to the vision board. Using the handful of magazines, I started to cut up things that I liked or wanted to manifest into life this year.
Then I started to place the words and pictures around a canvas cut out I had left over from when I made my Christmas basket for the delivery and mail drivers.
Once I had an idea of what I actually wanted to include, I pasted it together. Here’s the finished product:
For 2022, I want to feel like I’m on top of the world. I want to be the best version of who I can be. I added the “there is no timeline for success” as a reminder that I am exactly where I need to be, even if it doesn’t feel that way. My favorite picture is the “single, taken, building my empire” because it’s another reminder that I’m doing what I’m meant to be doing at the pace I’m meant to be doing it. Thew in some Friends quotes/images, travel, makeup and fashion inspo, and best of all the “on top of the world” and the “just #dgaf”.
I’m excited about my finished product and I can’t wait to see all the stuff I manifest this year into reality this year.
