Favorite Quotes
Day two of the blogging challenge prompts calls for me to choose a “favorite quote”…well, picking just one quote is usually hard for me. Lately though, I’ve been gravitating to a specific type of quote on Pinterest or Instagram.
I actually have a notebook I always keep with me for moments of inspiration (or to remind me what the heck I had to do) and one of the pages is loaded with quotes that I like to read when I need a pick me up (I did a whole post on different “pick me ups” here).
Since I couldn’t pick just one favorite, I narrowed down my long list of quotes to just two quotes:
- “Nothing is gone forever, it’s only out of place”
- “The sun still shines, even when it’s hiding”
I picked these specifically because I tend to need a reminder, especially on my bad days, that the even when you can’t see things they’re still there. I use this to remind myself that although Enzo isn’t physically with me, he’s still my son. He’s still my baby, and he is always next to me — guiding me through the life I have to live without him with me. Sometimes, we just need a reminder of that.
