Currently…

I am, unfortunately, still currently reading Hollywood Park; I hope to finish it this week, especially since we’re headed over the weekend to Siesta Key. I’ll be working while I’m there, but when I do get the chance to go down to the beach, I hope to be able to read a few of the books I have on stacked up next to my bed!

This is my ninth week doing the currently series! I feel so proud of myself! Since I will be heading to the beach, I thought this should include what I am currently packing — so here we go!

Currently Packing…

1. Bathing Suits – I have four Amazon one piece bathing suits (five if you count the one my older sister ” borrowed” _but hasn’t given back). I am so in love with the bathing suits I’ve bought on Amazon, so much so my aunt and mother have started to get them there too! They are a _steal compared to other stores/brands and they fit fantastically. I, personally, love the tummy control bathing suits since they suck you in all the right places. I will also be taking my striped one piece and ruffled tankini from Target with me. Another place I love to buy suits at is at Target; Although Amazon can sometimes have a better price point, the quality at Target is great.
2. Cover ups – I have four coverups already hidden away for me to pack; three of which are from Amazon, and the fourth is from my older sister’s closet. I used to have linen pants that I stole from my sister but I haven’t seen them in over a year so I don’t think they’ll be making the trip, but I do have a sarong skirt my cousin gifted us on her bachelorette that I plan to take (it’d actually go great with the striped bathing suit from target or even the tankini….oh the possibilities!)
3. Hats – OKAY, I am a huge_hat person. I have a boaters hat I bought lsat year in Sarasota that is already packed. I have two visors, my red Vineyard Vines and my blue Gators visor. I also have my new beach babe hat from ModParty (Etsy shop link here). I found this great little Etsy store when I was looking for my moms birthday present and I’ve gravitated back to them for some Siesta Key essentials (like said hat, and a beach bag).
4. Beach Bag – my new ModParty monogram “K” bag is going to be my beach bag, but I will also be taking my Mariella Villar mini basket (also has a K on it) which I was gifted on my best friends bachelorette weekend two years ago. I’ll also probably take one of my Longchamp’s just in case (unless my All Saints bag gets here early – more on that later)
5. Sunscreen – Sun Bum 200%. I have the 30 SPF and the 15 SPF, I also have the zinc oxide Sun Bum face sunscreen and I’ll probably buy another 15 SPF for the trip at Target.
6. Shorts – I have two pairs of BLANK NYC, possibly a third, and two pairs of shorts from Target (both Universal Thread).
7. Skincare/Haircare/Makeup – serums, moisturizer, unseen sunscreen, and my rosacea cream are all going (which serums has yet to be determined). Haircare is simple: purple shampoo, purple mask, travel packet of Coco & Eve hair mask, and the Ouai Shampoo & Conditioner. I will also be taking my DryBar paddle brush, Sachajuan leave in conditioner, Playa Monoi Milk Leave-in Conditioner, and the Ouai air foam. For makeup, I’ll be taking simple things like waterproof mascara, my regular mascara combo, my ILIA Super Serum Skin Tint SPF 40 Foundation, the Tower 28 Beauty BeachPlease Tinted Lip + Cheek Balm, some lipgloss, etc.
8. Dyson Supersonic Blower & DryBar Double Shot Blower brush – My go to’s for drying my hair; I’ll also be taking my hair wrap and body wrap

I went HAM shopping on Amazon and buying stuff I’ve been tossing and turning about for a bit, so for the next category…I am…

Currently Waiting for:

1. All Saints Allington East West Straw Tote Bag (in BLACK) – literally went back and forth on this ten times, but I caved because it’s just too good and the price was so good (half off, um yes please)
2. Amazon – ugh, I may have gone overboard…

   2. Amazon V-Neck tee’s (I have like 12 of these and I love them)
   3. Word Search in Spanish for Aida
   4. Beads! I’m actually very excited about this
   5. BLANK NYC shorts
   6. Hanes bras – I bought four, OMG so comfy
3. Ring Concierge – I ordered another 14K braided ring like the one I have in White Gold but in Yellow Gold. I can”t wait.
4. Pinch Me Moroccan Oil Purple Shampoo – I’ve been dying to try this.

Currently Enjoying

1. My MINI SkinCare Fridge – I am 100% totally obsessed with this, even more so that now I can enjoy all the serums and masks I have
2. Valjean Labs Facial Serums – I found these at TJ Maxx and honestly I’ve been using them like crazy; I bought the Repair, the Hydrate, the Glow, and the De-puff. I have them in my mini fridge with some other oils.
3. Herbivore – I love this brand so much. Not only for their skincare, but also for the hand sanitzer, hair mist, and more.
4. Sharpie S-Gel – Gel Pens. I am super into Sharpie pens in general, but these are hands down my favorite _gel _pens as well. I can’t get enough.
