What a week it has been! I’m so happy it is the weekend. First, I’m going to start with the shopping I’ve done this week.
- The Loft >> I bought four pair of jeans, at $16 EACH! I unfortunately am returning one, but that is not all I bought. I bought sweat-shorts (leopard print *insert heart eyes here*), a t-shirt to wear with cute shorts, and the perfect summer dress.
- Amazon >> Back to School is in full swing! I bought my favorite pens (literally, I would throw away the hundreds of dollars I have spent on other pens, and just order more of these) and I bought the cutest binder, with hearts on it. I also bought an adapter for my MacBook that includes USB, USB-C, and SD/MicroSD which I will be using to format my GoPro SD card so I can finally start using it!
- Target >> What haven’t I bought at Target? Continuing the Back to School trend, I bought three notebooks (Avengers themed, because DUH), three folders, a pencil pouch, [five] new books (not that I needed more), I bought a new tumbler (ZAK), and some tanktops to wear with little shorts.
- H&M >> Last weekend, after the SheIn pop up, I went to H&M. I bought some silky shorts, linen pants, and a strapless maxi dress. Unfortuantely, the maxi is going back but the other stuff is so cute. I’m excited to wear them.
- Dae >> I ordered the Monsoon Moisture kit yesterday, which is the new dae deep conditioner and a dae wide bristle comb. I truly am obsessed with combs, and for the price of the mask it comes with a comb as well. I’m really excited to try this mask. I’ve almost finished my Color Wow Money Mask, and although I’m sure I’ll buy it again, I am excited to try this. I think I’m going to like it more than I like the Ouai Thick Hair Mask. So let’s see!
Now onto other things, I’ve become obsessed with the Drama Queens OTH podcast by Hilarie Burton, Bethany Joy Lenz, and Sophia Bush. Literally obsessed. I’ve always been obsessed with them three and their friendship, but the podcast is so good. This week they had the actor who plays Mouth, Lee Norris, on and it was amazing. The chemistry between the four of them is great, and the stories are better. I can’t wait to see who else they bring on.
I’ve been trying to start my new book all week, but I’ve gotten only as far as chapter 4. It’s not bad, it’s just that I can’t concentrate or I rather spend the time watching TV which is not so good. I’m hoping I can get into it this weekend so I can read, at least, one more before the month ends. IDK what it is about this pandemic that I have one great month reading, one slow one, one great, one slow, etc…
The July birthday’s kick off this weekend, with my aunt’s birthday, and then next week is my dad, my godson, my nephew, and then the following weekend is my older sisters birthday. In August I only have a few friends, but another one of my friends will be popping out a baby girl.
I finally signed up for the first in person RunDisney event I’ve done in two years! I’m so excited. Next week I will have to force myself to start walking, so I can work my way up to running. I’m hoping to get a PR in the half, beating what I did in Paris two years ago.
