First, and foremost, let’s start with my mom and aunt are back home/in the US from their trip abroad. If you don’t remember, they went with some family friends to Istanbul, Turkey and Athens, Greece for ten days. Their travels brought me some fabulous goodies that I can’t wait to share, but it also brought me a week of peace and quiet in my house while I worked. While truly was fabulous.

I have been watching Gilmore Girls for the last two weeks, I’m currently on season three about to head into season four. Watching this show brings back such happy memories for me. It’s definitely one of the best. Next up, I am going to try and jump into Younger. I’ve been dying to read the books and watch the show (I am a huge Hilary Duff and Sutton Foster fan); I’m not sure if I have time to read the books before I watch but I am definitely going to do one of the two! I also finally finished Emily in Paris. I don’t know about you, but that show definitely had some cringe worthy moments, but it was also good at the same time. Let’s see if I can sit through the entire season when the second season comes out, next year I think? The fashion was definitely tré chic.

Next up: my latest shopping haul. Let’s start with my Stuart Weitzman sandals. I bought the two I’ve been drooling over for several months: the Goldie Jelly (in black) and the Sawyer Glittered rubber sandals in silver. I already wore both, the Goldie on Friday and the Sawyer today. Then I bought my first ever pair of Teeks sandals, in nude from Revolve. I have been wanting Teeks for several years, I have many friends who swear by them and since we’re going into the summer what better pair to start than with some beautiful nude sandals. Moving on to my “back to work” shoe purchase, I bought today at the Macy’s One Day sale what is probably my fifth pair of Sam Edelman Loraine loafers in a beautiful pink color. Since I volunteered to be a guinea pig and head back to the office in June, I knew I wanted something comfortable to wear.

I ordered and received today my new MacBook Pro case from Amazon. I originally had a clear one with a bunch of stickers from different Etsy shops or brands, but it cracked. So I ordered a baby blue/violet color instead and so far I’m loving it. We will see if it withstands getting dirty, since it is a lighter color, but it was less than $10 so I figured it didn’t matter if it did.

I think I have mentioned before that I absolutely love the Bryedo Gypsy Water perfume, but it truly is so expensive that unless it’s gifted to me I don’t see myself buying it again. Because of this, I ordered two fragrances from Alt Fragrances: Bohemian Water and Desert Phantom which are supposed to be the less expensive version of the Gypsy Water and Mojave Ghost scents from Bryedo. TBD on whether it truly is as good. Although, they’re so inexpensive that I don’t mind having them anyway.

Moving along, I am still reading Anxious People. I need to get with it, because it’s already half way through May and I haven’t finished a single book! I read seven in April, and hoped to read as much if not more this month. My best friend did just tell me that EJ James wrote all three Fifty Shade books in Christian Grey’s perspective and I absolutely love those books, so I think I will add them to the list for this month. Hopefully with those I’m able to catch up on my reading.
