Currently…

I am currently laying on my bed re-watching the original Charmed series. I restarted the series early last week and I’m half way through the first season without Prue (the oldest sister, played by Shannon Doherty) who was written off after she left the show ay the end of season three. Rumor has it she and fellow Charmed sister Phoebe, played by Alyssa Milano, did not get along causing Shannon to leave the show after three seasons. Personally the first three seasons, with Prue, are my favourite. However the series in itself is one of my favorites.

The post for this weeks “currently” series is seriously lacking. The only thing I actually got done was getting my AppleCare on my new MacBook Pro. Everything else is sitting on a to do list that I don’t even remember where I placed it.

I am still currently reading The Jetsetter’s. I wanted to have finished it, but again everything I originally wanted to get done this week hasn’t been done. After the Jetsetter’s, I want to read A Woman is No Man. That was the Telemundo book club choice for the last month and I never got around to reading it. After A Woman is No Man, I have the Wedding Date, Proposal, Wedding Party, etc. and then I have Untamed, All Adults Here, and a few other books that I just ordered. I have a tendency of buying a stack of books before I’m remotely done with the previous stack of books I have to read are actually read. Bad habit, I know.

My little sister finally took the MCAT yesterday, so we are thrilled to have her back to normal – although, her normal is someone else’s definition of crazy. Of that I am sure.

I’ve been wearing my Disney spirit jersey’s like crazy this week. I just love how comfortable they feel, and even more so when I wear them with shorts. Since they’re all long sleeve, the shorts off set the amount of heat my body is exposed to.

I have been rocking out to the playlist I created last week; my version of the millennial challenge found on TikTok. I totally jammed out last night and earlier today when I ran out for a quick errand.

We are also celebrating my nephew baby Luke joining us this week! He was born on Tuesday at 8 wonderful pounds. Such a cutie, and I can’t wait to watch his older brother interact with him. They are going to the be the cutest little boys on this planet.

My godson and I have FaceTimed a few times this week, he is getting a hang of saying NO to everything his mother tells him which I find to be extremely amusing. I really wish they were here; I miss being able to watch him grow up. I really do.

With tomorrow being Father’s Day, we are going to BBQ and hang out by the pool all day. My older sister and brother in law are going to come over, my uncle too (he always comes over on Sunday’s). We call it Sunday Funday around here.

I guess I should also mention I joined the dating app world. We shall see how it goes, but it’s definitely the riskiest and weirdest thing I’ve done in a long time. I’m not sure how I feel about it, but I have been talking to a great guy so I guess I can’t rule it out completely. Not yet.

I really hated having to date the first time around. I find it to be even more awkward now at 30. I guess after 15 years of not dating, it’s time I started again….it was just always something I completely dreaded. I got lucky the first time. Maybe this time will be lucky as well? We shall see. Let’s give it a few months before I completely rule it out again.
