And we are BACK!

Back from Utah, back to regularly scheduled posting, back to reality! I returned from Utah early Thursday morning, and went back to work Thursday (roughly six hours after I landed!). I worked two very long and stressful work days, but then I had the weekend to unwind and get back to my regular schedule. Granted, my suitcases are still packed and waiting to be put away, but I’ll get to that eventually.

I was able to make a small dent in my book, but in typical KJ fashion I bought three new books while on vacation (not to mention, two new notebooks I definitely don’t need and even more pens!!). I am extremely close to falling behind on my reading goal, but I hope to finish this baby this week (seriously though).

Utah was a blast, and it was so incredibly cold. I have so many great pictures to share. My little sister even introduced me to a new app, one that makes pictures look as if they were taken on an actual disposable camera!! I am now totally obsessed.

My crazy family is already planning our next trip, to Tahoe apparently (I haven’t even unpacked, and they’re already conspiring). I love cold weather, but I hate dressing for it, too many layers are just so uncomfortable. At least skiing was fun, although the Utah slopes were a bit intense. I definitely freaked the fuck out on a slope and quit very quickly after that. Better luck next time I guess.

Anyway, I’m looking forward to a new month (I can’t believe 2020 felt like it took 3 years, but we’re already in March of 2021!!). Work is going to be relatively busy the next few weeks and then we go into recovery mode. Hopefully by Summer we can go back to the office, even if it’s part time. I’m so desperately dying to go back. I miss my work fam and the fun times we had at the offices!! We shall see what the future holds.
