Currently…

This week started off insanely rough, but I thought about what I said last week where I wasn’t going to dwell on the stress and negativity of a bad day and that truly changed the outcome and outlook of the entire week. I’ve actually been super productive in my projects for work, and outside of work I’m feeling great.

It’s officially been a week since I started Arbonne, and like I said I’m feeling great! Weigh in isn’t until tomorrow, but I can already feel a difference in my body and energy levels. I do need to get into the working out again kick, but baby steps right? The point isn’t to fad diet, but to lose weight in a healthy manner. I’m actually excited because the chocolate powder I ordered came in and I’m loving the variety. I wish I liked the detox tea, I feel like that might help more but I’m just not into it. Doesn’t matter how much I try to disguise the tea.

Additionally, tomorrow is iPhone pre-order day! I’m 100% torn between the Pacific Blue and the plain old Silver, although I don’t think the Silver is really that plain. I find it beautiful. I have been shifting away from the space gray, my watch is silver, my MacBook is silver and I’m pretty sure the iPad my sister keeps stealing from me is silver too. But then again, the blue is so beautiful LOL. We shall see what I end up getting (honestly, whatever will arrive sooner is what I’ll get!).

Something else that’s relatively positive from this week is that I received the third, and final Ring Concierge, ring I have been wanted. A few months ago, I ordered the white gold, then the gold, and now I’ve finished the collection by buying the rose gold. I love the simplicity of the ring, and they go so great with the Pandora rings I typically never take off (Enzo and my birth stones), along with my great-grandmother’s gold wedding band.

I also ordered another pair of the Good Sweats from Good American, I seriously never want to take them off! I’ve become addicted to wearing them. Lately, it’s been to bed but I can easily wear them out. They’re baggy, yet flattering and they’re oh so comfortable. Another purchase from Good America are the All Fit jeans. I found this concept to be extremely interesting. The jeans are supposed to fit you even with fluctuating weight/sizes. If you gain/lose a few pounds, they’re supposed to mold to your fit. I ordered the 6-10 range since I’m typically a 10 in their jeans. Hopefully they fit! I definitely don’t want to go beyond a 10 because I am trying to lose weight, but I’m cautious that they may size differently. I have two other jeans from them where I had to size up and I hope that’s not the case with these.

I realized that when I thought back on the week, the mentality of knowing I wanted to pinpoint what In was grateful for this week and incorporate it into my “Currently” series – it really change the way I felt about the week. So here is what I’m grateful for this week:

  1. My health – the CDC released that people with the O blood type are the most resilient to this virus. I am O- so I am extremely grateful that not only am I currently healthy, but that I am more likely than not get this virus if I continue to listen and practice the social distancing and wearing masks.
  2. My work – although I might complain because of the stress level I know and am extremely grateful and happy, to not only have a job, but to also be extremely busy. So many people have been laid off, furloughed, and unemployed during this pandemic and I’ve been working. That in itself is something to be extremely grateful for. But additional to that, having a job that I truly love is also something else to be grateful for.
  3. My work sent me supplies to improve my current work from home setup; so additional to being grateful I have a job. I am grateful I have a job that supports me and provides me with the necessary tools to continue to excel while working from home.
  4. Additional to being grateful I’m healthy, I’m also grateful that I’m enjoying this Arbonne diet. I definitely feel better and I feel like it’s making a difference overall. I’m looking forward to weigh in for the first time ever!

Here’s to a great Friday, a great weekend, and a good next week!
