I forget what week we are on, and I’m technically a little delayed in this post but cut me a break this week was rough (I know, it’a becoming a broken record but good God work was rough!). We officially kicked off production for our next show and it’s been a bumpy ride, but we survived! Now I’m sitting on my bed, watching Law and Order, drinking my dinner Arbonne shake!
Yes, I officially am two days into my Arbonne diet. So far, so good. I’m enjoying the shakes. I’ve had great snacks between and I’m not dying of hunger nor am I jittery from diet pills. I actually opted to get the Vanilla protein powder, which has been going great but I was treated to a sample of the Chocolate this morning and OH MY LANTA it was delicious! I made myself a chunky monkey shake for breakfast and now I’m having a tropical smoothie. So delicious.
Tonight is the fifth game in the NBA Finals and although the Miami Heat are down 3-1, I am not counting them out! We want this and hopefully tonight they show it! Win or lose, they’re still my #1 team (and the only Miami team I truly, always, follow. In the College world, my Florida Gators are currently undefeated and I’m proud of it. So proud, I ordered a house divided three-ways sign! Now that our cousin has moved in with us, we have a Gator, a Hurricane, and a Seminole. So we’re going to represent that family rivalry! I love finding fun stuff like that on Etsy. I actually ordered a Cane/Gator one for my parents house as well!
On the reading front, I haven’t made a crack in my book. I started the Power Moves and I got distracted with work, so hopefully this weekend I can hone back into it and get into my groove (another broken record, I know, but I’m willing to keep trying!).
My little sisters birthday was this past Wednesday and we went to happy hour before the Vice Presidential debate. Honestly I am one for voting this MF out (my opinion, please don’t @ me), but I also am so over listening to the insanity that is going on in the news. I will most definitely be voting early and I will most definitely be making sure my voice is heard. I hope that you do too, regardless of whether we share the same political opinions or not.
My birthday is in exactly a month, and BOY am I not excited! I usually hate my birthday to begin with; once Halloween springs up on us and the “Holiday’s” start it gets tough for me to get through. It’s going to be seven years since I had Enzo, and although my day-to-day has gotten much easier, the holidays have not. With the way this year is looking and the possibility of not traveling to New York dawning on me, I am getting even more antsy to just skip on through to 2021. Can we just make 2020 not count for anything? I mean, besides working my ass off, I haven’t done much!
I am hoping to get the Brazilian Blowout done on my hair this weekend, if not at some point next week. I haven’t had it done in a year and it is definitely time to get it done. The Brazilian Blowout makes my hair straighter, healthier, and shinier than the Keratin treatment. I, personally, prefer the Brazilian. I feel as though the effects not only last longer, but make a significant difference in my hairs health. I take pride in my hair maintenance. I love when people compliment how healthy it looks and getting this treatment, even once a year, is definitely a huge factor.
And the last, and best, news of the week is that my monitor came in! My work sent out a voucher for employees since we won’t be allowed back into the building for at least another 6 months, and I definitely jumped on it. I most definitely did not think that they would send me a 24″ monitor. I was blown away. The only one complaint is that it doesn’t have a camera so team meetings or meetings where my face needs to be seen are a little bit harder to figure out. However, my dad (being the best dad ever) ordered me a webcam that I can clip onto the top of the monitor. I just need to wait for it to arrive!
