Looking Forward…

I am actually looking forward to the trip to the beach we are going to be taking this weekend. Every year, since I was a baby, we’ve been going to Siesta Key for a week. I’ve only missed the trip a couple of times in my entire 30 years of life. This year, we weren’t going to go because my best friends little sister was getting married the week we typically go; however, with COVID the wedding was pushed back to next year, and the beach trip was pushed to the end of the month – I guess everything happens for a reason, right? So tomorrow, we are going to head out to Siesta Key, on the West (Gulf) Coast of Florida. Even though I actually have to work while we’re there, I am super looking forward to the trip. Siesta Key/Sarasota is my happy place. It’s the one place in the entire state that I always feel at peace.
