2020 Reading List
I usually am so much more of a book worm than I have been lately. One of my 2020 “goals” was to read 52 books this year…If you follow me on Goodreads, you’ll see I’m like at number 5. Pretty disappointing if you ask me, especially because in the last three months I’ve bought about 8 books!
I’ve seen online articles about how the pandemic has made it more difficult for people to sleep, read, or stay motivated. I am most definitely one of those people. Although five books isn’t terrible, it’s as if I read one per month this year; but I haven’t. I read pretty much all of them BEFORE the stay at home order began, and since then I’ve read one book. Hopefully that will change, especially since my book list is just growing!
I decided to switch it up a bit and pick up a Rom-Com to see if that will help me get back into my bookworm mood, so I am officially going to start with American Royals by Katharine McGee. It’s been on my list for a bit now, so I’m going to bite the bullet and see if that helps get me back on my game.
Here are a few other titles I currently have laying around that I hope to start next, followed by some new titles I’ve recently discovered via Instagram (I follow numerous “Book Clubs”) and browsing the Target Book Club section:

I really want to get back on my book worm kick and feel motivated to read the books piled on my nightstand, bed, and in the stack on the coffee table. It always feels weird when I pick up a book and I’m not excited to read it, it’s so unnatural for me and I completely blame this pandemic for that feeling.
I’ll see you posted on how it goes, and remember: follow me on Goodreads to follow along my journey or see the 280+ books I have on my list!
